College/University graduate
A recognized TEFL qualification or equivalent (International teachers only)

Experienced in teaching all age groups

Job Description :

Carry out the timetable of classes assigned by the STM
Give lessons to the highest standards of English language teaching
Be familiar with all courses of study at the center
Prepare lessons and equipment in advance for all classes
Be in class 5 minutes before starting time. Test equipment before class starts
Use audio/video materials in classes. Expose students to the technology used in current courses
Develop and use suitable supplementary materials as necessary
Maintain student and class records. Administer, correct and record the results of progress reports, test and assessments
Be responsible for students welfare and progress
Inform students of center safety and behavior policies
Subtitute for absent colleagues, perhaps at short notice, on or off-site
Cooperate with the CD and STM in ensuring the constructive communication and efficient operation of the center
Continually strive for self-development and attend regular developmental meetings with the STM
Maintain student and class records
Assist in the placement testing and interviewing of new student
Conduct or assist in demo (trial) lessons as assigned
Carry out teaching related responsibilities including, but not limited to demonstration classes, LIFE Clubs, tutorials, seminars, presentations, and center social events
