Puhua School, also known as Sekolah Nasional 3 Bahasa Putera Harapan, is a trilingual national school located in Purwokerto, Central Java. With a rich heritage dating back to 1906, Puhua was born from the spirit of community education among the Chinese diaspora in the region. 1. Early Years Counselor
Qualification :
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
- Experience working with children
- Good understanding of child development and age-appropriate behavior
- Strong communication, interpersonal, observation, and active listening skills
- Patient, empathetic, responsible, and able to build positive relationships with children
- Able to work collaboratively with teachers, parents and the school community
- Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional ethics
- Proficiency in English is required
2. Primary Science Teacher
Qualification :
- Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology Education, Physics Education, Chemistry Education or a related science field
- Prior teaching experience in Science at the Primary or Secondary School level is an advantage
- Proficient in teaching in English, both spoken and written
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based, experimental, and project-based learning approaches
- Ability to develop lesson plans, assessments and engaging, safe laboratory or practical activities
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and teamwork skills
- Passionate about education and committed to fostering students’ scientific curiosity
- Willing to participate in professional development and contribute to school activities
- Willing to work in Purwokerto, Central Java
3. Primary & Secondary Christian Teacher
Qualification :
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Theology or a related Christian religious studies field
- Experience in teaching or working with early childhood student is an advantage; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively and create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
- Strong communication skills, high empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and parents
- Basic proficiency in digital tools and simple editing to support teaching and learning activities
- Willing and able to be based in Purwokerto, Central Java
