Administrative Clerk

Duties:

The incumbent performs wide variety of administrative support services to the Facility Management Section. S/he is responsible for planning and executing administrative functions that include personnel, budget, procurement and supply, quality assurance, and database management. Supervised by the Local Facility Manager, s/he serves as staff office manager and directly supervises one gardener and one Janitor.
The incumbent functions as the primary point of contact for customers at the Consulate for maintenance operations in the New Consulate Compound (NCC). S/he performs customer service duties such as setting up appointments, receiving and tracking complaints, and following up with customers on the status of their work repair requests referring to the Global Maintenance Management System (GMMS). The incumbent also serves as the A/POSHO (Assistant of Post Occupational Safety and Health Officer) in coordination with the POSHO at post and at the embassy to assist in managing the post safety, health, and environmental management (SHEM) program.

Qualifications and Evaluations :

Requirements:

All selected candidates must be able to obtain and hold a:
- Public Trust- Background Investigation security clearance.
All selected candidates will be subject to a background investigation and may be subject to a pre-employment medical exam.
Selected candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time 4 weeks upon receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Education Requirements:

Minimum two years post-Secondary studies at the College/University level.

Experience:

Two years of experience in the maintenance or construction field performing repair work or providing administrative support in a maintenance or construction field is required.
